Zink the Zebra Camp Activities for Girl Scouts -Zink Goes To Camp-
A camp setting is the ideal environment to help teach campers understanding, respect, compassion and acceptance for others who are different. Zink Goes to Camp materials are available to Girl Scouts as a supplement to the lessons already learned in the Patch Program. It is not a requirement to complete the Patch Program before participating in Zink Goes to Camp Activities. All the activities can be used to introduce the story of Zink the Zebra and/or to expand on things they may have already learned in the troop/group setting. Each camper package contains a black and white beanbag learning tool with your choice of a miniature sleeping bag or backpack and colorful Zink camp patch. These items will remind campers of the lessons learned long after camp is over.
Many councils offer Zink Goes to Camp at summer resident camp, day camps, weekend camps, outreach camps and even as program check out boxes. Make sure to ask about the special Zink Goes to Camp Weekend Edition. It is perfect for small troop outings to council wide events!
To participate in the Zink Goes to Camp program, contact your Girl Scout council for ordering information or for more information, please contact Patty McGrew, Senior Relationship Manager at zinkzebra@aol.com or call 865-584-0170.
