Girl Scout Council of Southeast Louisiana A special thanks to Deb Graham and Marianne Burdette for sharing the following great information and picture...
After three years we are still going strong!
The Girl Scout Council of Southeast Louisiana has successfully shared Zink's message with troops through the patch program since the collaboration began three years ago.
Recently we have introduced "Zink Spots" and "Daisy Dots." Daisy Dots for Daisy Girl Scouts and Zink Spots for Brownie Scouts and older offer our troops who have not participated in Zink already an easy and fun way to introduce their girls to the basic concepts. At the same time, they can help troop leaders who have already completed the Zink the Zebra patch program re-enforce Zink's messages. Zink Spots/Daisy Dots are quick and easy!
We were excited to receive the new Pre-School materials! We purchased enough kits to offer the Zink program to all of the many Headstart Centers we are serving in our Council. They are thrilled to bring Zink's message to their Headstart Daisy Girl Scouts. After learning about Zink and the acceptance of others, the younger girls draw pictures of their own Zink.
